Very happy with the quality of this figure, although its three joints can be really tight to assemble. Having it pre-ordered online from Japan's AmiAmi and sent to the UK, about 1/3 of the overall cost is shipping, import VAT and Royal Mail handling fee. That's a lot more than what it seems initially.

Fancy Frontier (FF) is one of the major comic fairs in Taiwan. Although it does not take place in Taipei 101, I added one photo from same trip anyway. FF usually takes place at National Taiwan University Sports Center.

I personally found that manga B4 format is proportionally the most flexible one adapting different publishing sizes.

Tintin comics fan art (2000)

The Adventures of Tintin (Les Aventures de Tintin / 丁丁歷險記) by Hergé was one of the first comics series I ever read when I was little. I was extremely excited to learn the comic books when my grandfather bought the first translated version (in Taiwan) and presented to me. It remained profoundly influential in my childhood.

I did a mini fan art back in 2000.

A parcel from Sakura Mizuki

Japanese mangaka Sakura Mizuki and I met in London ICA in 2004, we have been in touch since. Recently he has completed a comics collection with his students from the Character Design Course at Design and Art Department of Osaka University of Arts Junior College, which he wanted to present to me. Today I have received this wonderful gift from him, along with another book of Inoue Takehiko: The LAST Manga Exhibition as a nice surprise to me.

Phoenix 2772 at The British Museum

A classic anime film created by Osamu Tezuka was showing at The British Museum, accompanying by an introduction from Paul Gravett, as part of "Manga and Anime films" late night event.

手塚治虫的動畫片"火の鳥2772"於大英博物館地下視聽室上映. 雖無法依原定播放日語原音的版本, 看了從頭笑到尾的破爛美語翻譯配音, 仍舊感到十分滿足.
